Reconnect Chat after copying Jira Service Management projects

The chat channels in your Jira Service Management project seamlessly integrate with either Slack or Microsoft Teams, bringing your service project directly to these platforms. If you have Jira Service Management projects on your source site connected to either Slack or Microsoft Teams, it’s important to note that when you copy these projects to your destination, the chat-related connections and settings you configured on your source site will not transfer to the new location.

You need to disconnect chat channels on the source and reconnect them on your destination site.

To disconnect chat from the service projects on your source site:

1. From your service project, select Project settings, then Channels & self service, then Chat.

2. On the Slack or Teams tab, select (more menu) > Disconnect this project.
